My first crack at stage combat!

 I have been training and coaching since 1996. Studied, Martial Arts Gi training in Lotus (combination of Kenpo Karate, Judo, Aikido and Muay Thai Boxing)  and Thai Kwon Do.  During this time I was teaching Mother/Daughter Self Defense Classes with Peggy Rahm (2nd degree black belt and creator of the Basic Training Self Defense program), as well as kickboxing classes for corporations like Costco and AIG. In 2000 while instructing Kickboxing classes and training at Side Kicks in Redmond, Kim Messer who was training at the time for a world title in boxing got me interested in straight up boxing, I was hooked! In 2002 After Kim won her World Title in Boxing she retired as a 4 time World Champion(3 in Kickboxing) and her, her husband/coach and with the help of Peggy Rahm opened up Ring Sports United.I was asked to be a part of it. As I continued to train, I started a children's boxing class for the EastSide Pugs RSU's non profit partner to help youth fitness and competitors, I returned back to school passionate to learn more about the human body and Sports Physiology. Attained an associates of Science and became certifed from  ACSM (American College of Sport Medicine). I continued instructing and maintaining the children's program and taught classes and private instruction in self-defense, strength & conditioning , Boxing, Kickboxing, during the day and kept my own training up. I was becoming more and more involved with Ring Sports, I became a certified USA Boxing Coach, was able to corner fighters, my most exciting event Women's National Golden Gloves with Alex Love. Learned alot there! I managed RSU from 2008-2010, Owned 2010 - Oct 2011.
